The Yellow bullhead is a member of the Catfish
family (Ictaluridae). Although bullheads are considered bottom feeders, when given the opportunity they are quite capable of catching and eating fish such as minnows and sunfish. The map below shows presence (green circles) of this species in the 1995-2019 MBSS dataset. |
